BRAHEA ARMATA
Synonym: Mexican Blue Palm.
Very hardy and with bluish-grey leaves, it requires sunny positions and, like all Braheas, it is very resistant to drought and poor soils, as well as sea winds. Thus, it does not like waterlogged soils or excessively humid environments.
Its fantastic flowering, between May and June, is the most striking of the palm trees that can be cultivated in Mediterranean and temperate climates.
