CITRUS RETICULATA

Synonym: Mandarin.

It is a tree that belongs to the botanical genus CITRUS, in the Rutaceae family, with characteristics similar to the orange tree, although smaller and spheroid in shape. Its fruit, the tangerine, is made up of a considerable number of segments full of juice that contain a large amount of vitamin C, flavonoids and essential oils.
